You don't need to open an account to get started. Access the simulator on your home page, choose what you want to do (buy, sell, exchange or send abroad), enter the value and follow the flow. Operations involving PIX require quick KYC (2 minutes) the first time. If you are a repeat customer, we recommend opening a Pangea Account to have history, alerts and access to upcoming products (card and acquiring).

Not necessarily. The simulator works directly in the browser, on your cell phone or on your computer. The Pangea Account is also accessed via a responsive web app — there is no installation required. Native apps for iOS and Android are in development.

Without an account, you use Pangea for specific operations: buying, selling, swapping and sending. Each operation runs as an isolated transaction. With the Pangea Account, you now have a balance in stablecoin (BRLA, USDT, USDC), your own PIX key, complete history, alerts and access to upcoming products. The account is free to open and maintain.

Not to mention: KYC time (about 2 minutes), only for the first operation involving PIX. With Pangea Account: registration also takes ~2 minutes, and approval is available to start using immediately.

In general, the crypto drops within 30 seconds after the PIX is confirmed by our provider. The time may vary slightly at peak times or for slower networks (e.g. Bitcoin), but it is normal to receive confirmation almost immediately. You can monitor the status via email and on the operation screen itself.

On the purchase screen, choose "Receive in your own wallet" and paste your wallet address. Check the network (Polygon, Ethereum, Bitcoin, etc.) — sending to the wrong network may result in loss of funds. After confirming, you receive the transaction hash in your email and can follow it through the network explorer.

We currently support Bitcoin (native BTC), Ethereum (ETH and ERC-20 tokens like USDT/USDC), Polygon (MATIC and tokens), Solana (SOL and SPL tokens), and BNB Smart Chain. The complete list by asset appears at the time of purchase.

Yes. Purchasing via PIX only requires a quick KYC (selfie + document) in the first transaction. It is not necessary to open a Pangea Account — you can receive the crypto directly in your external wallet.

The minimum varies by asset, but generally starts at R$50. The minimum value appears on the screen before you confirm.

In the home simulator, choose the "Sell" tab, select the asset (BTC, USDT, USDC, etc.) and the value. Confirm the KYC if it is your first operation, send the crypto to the generated address and the PIX will fall into your key in ~30 seconds after on-chain confirmation.

No. Crypto-for-crypto swap does not require registration or KYC. Operations involving PIX, bank account or card require KYC because Brazilian regulations require it.

Most swaps are executed between 5 and 20 minutes, depending on the origin and destination network. Slower networks (Bitcoin, Ethereum mainnet at peak times) may take a little longer.

The service fee is 2% of the amount, shown before you confirm. There is no additional withdrawal fee for PIX.

Access "Open my account", enter your basic details (name, CPF, email), take a selfie holding the document (RG or CNH) and finish. The entire process takes about 2 minutes. After approval, you receive your PIX key in the app.

No. The Pangea Account is a digital crypto custody account. You have a PIX key to receive and pay, but the balance is in BRLA, USDT or USDC. Therefore, it is not subject to traditional bank blocks (BACENJUD, seizure, etc.).

Within the app, on the "Exchange" screen, select the source and destination asset, enter the value and confirm. The conversion is instantaneous. The rate appears before confirmation.

Yes. Your Pangea Account has its own PIX key. Whoever pays you doesn't need to know that it's a crypto account — it's the same as any PIX key. When PIX falls, it automatically becomes BRLA in your balance.

On the "Send abroad" page, enter the value in reais, the destination country (USA or Europe) and the receiving account details (name, number, ABA/IBAN). Pay in PIX and the destination account receives it in USD or EUR within 2 hours.

Today we send to the United States (USD) and the Euro Zone (EUR).

CPF, proof of residence (once only) and complete details of the destination account. For amounts above R$50,000, we may request additional proof of origin of the funds, as required by regulation.

American and European banks may charge a receipt fee (between US$0 and US$15). This fee is from the recipient's bank, not ours, and appears highlighted before confirming.

The assets are held in custody with regulated institutional partners, with insurance against operational losses. A significant portion remains in multi-signature cold wallets, beyond the reach of online incidents.

On the login screen, click "I forgot my password". You will receive a link in your registered email. For sensitive changes (email, telephone, PIX key), a new selfie verification may be required.

Never. No Pangea employee will ask for your password, 2FA code or private key. If you have any questions, write to support@pangeapay.org directly.

Go to Settings → Security → Enable 2FA. You can use an authenticator app (Authy, Google Authenticator) or a code via SMS. We always recommend the app, as it is safer.

The standard rate is 3% of the transaction value. For buying and selling crypto via PIX, the fee is 2%. See the complete table at /rates.

Every operation generates a detailed receipt with the quote applied, service fee, IOF (when applicable), network fee and final value. The receipt is sent by email and is available for download in your account, under "History".

The exchange IOF is collected for the Federal Revenue in international remittance operations, according to the current rate. We show the separate line on the receipt — without embedding it in the spread.

Crypto operations, by nature, are irreversible once confirmed on-chain. If you identify an incorrect service fee charge, please write to support@pangeapay.org with the transaction ID.

Operations with PIX, bank account or card require identity verification in accordance with Brazilian regulations (Central Bank, Federal Revenue, COAF). KYC protects you from fraud and allows us to operate within the law. The crypto-for-crypto swap does not require KYC, because it does not touch the traditional banking system.

ID, CNH (front and back) or valid passport. You also take a selfie holding the document. For companies, we ask for articles of incorporation and proof from the partners.

In general, automatic approval takes up to 2 minutes. In cases that require manual review (poor quality photo, document close to expiration), it may take up to 1 business day. You are notified by email.

Yes. Crypto-to-crypto swap (USDT → BTC, ETH → USDC, etc.) does not require KYC or registration. Only operations involving PIX, bank account or credit card require verification.

If the automatic verification fails, write to support@pangeapay.org with the email used to register. Most cases are resolved with better photos or updated documents. In more complex situations, our compliance team gets in touch.

The card is under development. We don't have a public launch date yet — communication takes place via the waiting list, in order of registration. Anyone who already has an active Pangea Account enters with priority.

Access /card, scroll to "Waiting list" and leave your email. We will notify you as soon as the product is available to early users.

The card is a credit card, with your crypto (Bitcoin, ETH or USDC) serving as collateral. You spend on credit normally, and your crypto balance is held as collateral — without having to sell assets to have liquidity. The invoice is in BRL, with automatic debit via PIX.

Yes. The card is integrated with the Pangea Account — the limit is calculated based on the balance held there. We recommend opening the account now to be ready when the card comes out.

It's a product for companies: your customer pays with a credit card normally (any brand, with or without installments), and you receive the amount in BRLA, USDT or USDC directly into your Pangea Account — without having receivables tied up in reais and devaluing them.

It is for companies (legal entities) with an active CNPJ. Especially useful for e-commerce with tight margins, exporters or digital services, and companies that want to dollarize part of their cash automatically.
